Voted "Most Beautiful Car of the Year" in 2018 in its second generation version, the Peugeot 508 has not said its last word!
As it approaches its 5e birthday, it is time for a restyling for the Franc-Comté saloon. New silhouette, new engine and new comfort: the new 508 still has plenty under the bonnet!
Allure: a new emblem and a cat-like silhouette

PEUGEOT is offering a new design for its top-of-the-range silhouettes. The front end is more dynamic and features the brand's new emblem at its centre. The new 508s bring modernity by fully integrating the grille motif into the volume of the bumper.

These models feature a new signature light with three claws at the front. They are integrated into the extremely slim Matrix LED headlamps with their unique design fitted on all versions. At the rear, the new LED headlamps incorporate the signature 3-claw design with scrolling direction indicators.

Excellence: new ultra-efficient PLUG-IN HYBRID engines
Two plug-in hybrid 2WD engines
- NEW PLUG-IN HYBRID 180 e-EAT8: 2-wheel drive/combination of a 150 hp (110 kW) PureTech engine and an 81 kW electric motor coupled with the 8-speed e-EAT8 automatic gearbox.
- PLUG-IN HYBRID 225 e-EAT8: 2-wheel drive / combination of a 180 hp (132 kW) PureTech engine and an 81 kW electric motor coupled with the 8-speed e-EAT8 automatic gearbox.

The Li-ion battery of the 180, 225 and 360 plug-in hybrids has a capacity of 12.4 kWh and an output of 102 kW. From a 7.4 kW Wall Box (32 A) and with the 7.4 kW single-phase on-board charger, full charging can be completed in 1 hour and 40 minutes.

The compact steering wheel increases driving pleasure tenfold by offering unique agility and precision of movement:
- Steering wheel-mounted multimedia system controls ;
- New coat of arms in the centre;
- 12-inch digital instrument cluster with new display modes that can be changed from the steering wheel;
- The central 10-inch high-definition touchscreen is located in the centre of the dashboard;
- Piano keys with shortcuts to the general menu ;
- New automatic gearbox selector ;
- For hybrid versions: Brake button (B) to activate regenerative braking. In the petrol version, it is replaced by a Manual button (M), which allows you to manually select the gear you are in using the paddles located behind the steering wheel.
