THE LION UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF EMOTION

Neuroscientists have studied the question: what happens in our brain when we contemplate a work of art? Our brain's response is surprising, as it secretes dopamine, the same hormone present in the state of love! This study conducted by neurobiologists in London in 2012 examines volunteers contemplating works of art by great masters. It demonstrates irrefutably how much art stimulates our intimate and deep emotions. However, painting, theatre and music, considered to be noble arts, are not the exclusive preserve of emotion. Art can be discovered everywhere by those who know how to see it and emotion can arise at any time. 
Freedom
The car has always been an indestructible bubble of freedom. At first, of course, this feeling was closely linked to the ease of travel. Then the 1960s saw the emergence of road trips and their imaginary world, now anchored in the collective unconscious. Route 66 in the United States, for example, has been widely used in films, music and literature as a symbol of freedom.

Today, the car remains a cocoon that offers a parenthesis, a time to oneself: an increasingly rare and precious commodity. 
THE DESIRE

Born of our desire to conquer the world by road, this now robotic species, which reacts and obeys at the drop of a hat, offers us an intoxicating sensation on which we have all become dependent. As early as 1907, the famous French writer and journalist Octave Mirbeau was not mistaken when he wrote: "Any journey by car is first and foremost a journey within oneself".

Emotional attachment and aesthetics
According to a survey carried out in 2020 by the ELABE polling institute, 6 out of 10 drivers remain attached to their car, and even 8 out of 10 for young people (77% of 18-25 year olds, 76% of 25-34 year olds). 5 out of 10 even see it as a way of expressing their personality. 80% of users believe that manufacturers attach more importance to the design of their cars than before. And 74% of drivers think that today's cars are more beautiful than those of 10 years ago. In terms of design, three quarters of those surveyed said they were sensitive to the line of a car, 46% to its colour and 40% to its dashboard, with young people paying particular attention to the seats, digital screens and the design of the grille.
